Common on canyonsides and in gravelly flat.

Heterotheca fulcrata, det. V.L. Harms 1963. / Heterotheca foliosa; A fairly distinct race of Heterotheca villosa, common in the Colo. Front Range. It has nothing to do with H. fulcrata; det. W. A. Weber 1996. Originally ID as Chrysopsis hispida.
