Weber 1996; Probably a high-altitude microrace of H. villosa sen. lat., characterized by comparatively glabrate foliage and single terminal heads. Originally ID as Heterotheca fulcrata. Garfield quad. Voucher plants for Mt. Aetna Molybdenum study.
