Habitat: Steep slopes of clay hills.
Reproductive Condition: Flr
Occurrence Remarks: This steppe-desert race is quite distinct from the alpine dwarf, glabrate one, but there appears to be no species in the vicinity to contribute the more elongate leaf shape and dense tomentum.
