Salix serissima, det. G. Argus 1986. / Salix serissima (L. H. Bailey) Fernald, det. R. Dorn 1993. The only known station in the state; rather common in Montana and Saskatchewan. Shrub 6-12 ft. tall, separated from S. caudata by shorter aments and larger darker colored fruits.
