Tetraneuris acaulis (Pursh) Greene var. acaulis, det. Mark W. Bierner 2003. The plants from southwestern [sic; southeastern?] Colorado, away from the foothills, seem to produce very slender, and elongate flowers stalks, often reddish in color. Original ID: Tetraneuris acaulis (Pursh) Greene.
