I located the lake using K. R. Johnsons 1941 paper (https://www.jstor.org/stable/1929616 p.311). It is an unmarked lake between Rabbit Ears Pass and Muddy Pass on the north side of the road. I placed the point on the east slope on the shore of the lake. R
Ligusticum porteri Coult. & Rose, det. Ronald L. Hartman 1989. Orig. ID as Conioselinum scopulorum. Abund.; ht 3 feet. Orig. label says Routt Co., but K. Richard Johnson's published paper (1939) says Little Columbine Lake is in Jackson Co. Lake not found on map.
