Open Sabina osteosperma community in reddish gravelly soil along dry, narrow wash; common associates include Pinus edulis, Amelanchior utahensis, Fraxinus anomala, Coleogyne ramosissimum, Packera multilobata, Penstemon utahensis, Comandra umbellata...; uncommon. Permian Cutler Form.
