Filled & revegetated kettle pond surrounded by subalpine Picea engelmannii forest; common associates in mossy damp soil with lichens include Trisetum spicatum, Elymus trachycaulus, Androsace septentrionalis, Fragaria virginiana ssp. glauca, Draba albertina, Carex microptera. Common locally. Holocene & Pleistocene solifluction debris of andesite & granite.
