Locality: United States, Colorado, Clear Creek, Arapahoe National Forest, on Chicago Lakes trail, 1 to 2 miles from trailhead. Trailhead near junction of Colo Hwy's 103 & 5, accessed from interstate hwy I-70 at the town of Idaho Springs.

Occurrence Remarks: Low perennials. The plants have dense spikes of green flowers & form several mats along trailside. 7½ Idaho Springs Quad, NAD27 Conus Datum.
