I placed the point along FR 22 ca 0.25 miles above Deer Lake/junction with HWY 67.
Rocky roadside hill in red sandstone. Extremely dry soil. Pine/aspen forest.
Plants 12-15 cm tall' rays variable 6-10; most plants with single stems, some in clumps of 2-3. Leaves gray-green, lanceolate to linear. Numerous sterile rosettes.
