I plotted this point using the given TRS coordinates, placing it along the 6600 ft contour line on the north slope of a hogback within the Grand Hogback, which is about 6 air miles NNW of Rifle; 6/17/19
North slope of hogback with Artemisia tridentata slopes grading with Pinus edulis-Juniperus osteosperma and Pinus edulis-Cercocarpus montanus in vicinity of gap; pinyon-juniper. Elev. 6100-7100 ft.
