Alpine fellfield summit & ridge near summit on steeply tipped slabs with ca. 50% veg. cover; assoc. incl. Phlox condensata, Eritrichum aretioides, Besseya alpina, Trifolium dasyphyllum, Micranthes rhomboidea. Densly matted; locally common & widespread in rocky areas above timberline.

Original ID: Potentilla concinna. Flowers lemon yellow. Lower member of Sangre de Cristo Form. (red arkose sandstone, conglomerate ss. siltstone & shale). 7.5' Electric Peak Quad.
