Alpine fellfield summit & ridge near summit on steeply tipped slabs with ca. 50% veg. cover; associates include Phlox condensata, Eritrichum aretioides, Micranthes rhomboidea, Potentilla concinna, Draba aurea. Abundant & widespread.

Fresh leaves bluish green; flowers lemon yellow. 7.5' Electric Peak quad. Lower member of Sangre de Cristo Form. (red arkose sandstone, conglomerate ss. siltstone & shale).
