Occurrence Remarks: Potentilla diversifolia Lehmann var. diversifolia, det. Barry C. Johnston 1980. Plants of Rocky Mountain National Park. Alpine and Wilderness Ecological Reconnaissance Project. Young leaves are densely pubescent which resembles P. rubricaulis.
