I placed the point ~2.5 miles west of Big Creek Lakes in section 13 R83W on a SE slope along the 10,400 ft contour line. R82W is east of the lake and at a lower elevation. RA; Georeferenced 18 October 2016

Exposed, SE-facing ridge in almost barren dry gravel with Pinus flexilis, Juniperus communis, Erigeron compositus.

Potentilla hookeriana Lehm. or Potentilla rubricaulis Lehm. (mature leaves mostly 5-foliate; petioles somewhat spreading pilose), Det: Richard Scully, 23 Jan. 2007. / Potentilla modesta Rydberg, det. Barbara Ertter, May 2011. Original ID: Potentilla cf. nivea L. Trifoliate leaves; styles short, thickened and glandular at base, like P. nivea, but leaflets deeply dissected. Davis Peak Quad.
