Rocky-gravelly S-facing slope. Limestone. Elev. 11800-11950. With Penstemon whippleanus, Eremogone fendleri, Tetraneuris brevifolia, Poa alpina, Cerastium beeringianum, Valerian capitata, Pedicularis parryi.
