Medium-wet sites, between P. plattensis and P. pulcherrima. Often growing close to both species.

Original ID: Potentilla pulcherrima x plattensis. Pinnate-digitate, tomentose, stems decumbent but longer than P. plattensis, and so flowers are above tops of grass.
