Habitat: On well developed tundra solifluction lobes below ridge; with Thalictrum alpinum, Acomastylis rossii, Carex albonigra, C. scopulorum, C. arapahoensis, Hirculus platysepala, Trifolium salictorum; common.

Notes: Substrate of Tertiary andesite. Flowers yellow. 7.5' Jones Hill quad.
