Habitat: Gently sloping river shoreline, on periodically inundated deposits of fine sand to sand & gravel. Assoc. plants include Potentilla norvegica and Argentina anserina.

Occurrence Remarks: Petals smaller than sepals. Achenes without swelling. Some basel leaves with two paris of leaflets at the second node - appearing as 7 foliate.
