2 patches of 200 to 300 sq. ft. in grazed areas in part shade and shade of willow and cottonwood trees, where vegetative ground cover is short. Well-drained loam soil.
Frt
Trailing plants no more than 8" tall, w/ stems rooting at nodes. Fruit is scarce, 14 out of 16 with 5 sepals, one each with 4 or 6 sepals. Style subapical, 0.6mm long, about 1/2 the length of the achene. Stamens 20-21. Additional UTM: 485905E 4433307N.
