Along trail next to creek where narrow Populus tremuloides forest zone borders riparian wetland zone; with common local associates, Salix monticola, S. brachycarpa, Carex foenea, Arnica cordifolia, Vaccinium cespitosum, Draba albertina, Trifolium repens, Astragalus alpinus, Fragaria virginiana ssp. glauca; locally common.
