Habitat: Grasslands in SE part of mesa. 200m SW of stock pond, only scattered forbs. Soil: fine arguistoll derived from Tertiary Fishers Peak basic lava flow.

Notes: Original ID: Pulsatilla patens. Fishers Peak Quad. Height 25-30 cm. Fresh sepals: very light purplish blue., 7.5 PB8/6.
