GNIS point at the UTM coordinates given does not match the habitat given. Therefore, point placed approx 300 m SE of UTM coordinates, putting the point approx 200 m SW of the pond and at the correct elevation of 8940. However, just in case collection was

Grasslands in SE part of mesa. 200m SW of stock pond, only scattered forbs. Soil: fine arguistoll derived from Tertiary Fishers Peak basic lava flow.
