In subalpine park on S side of Mtn; shade of old growth spruce, site nearly level; rich loam with large rocks, ca 50% vegetative cover.
The dominants: Geranium viscossimum, Agropyron pseudorepens, Bromus, Helenium hoopesii, Thalictrum occidentale, Epilobium angustifolium, Lupinus argenteus; also with Poa nervosa, P. pratensis.
Petals bright yellow.
