Abundant on N-facing cliffs and bottom of narrow sandstone canyon below outcrop of sandy gypsum of Yeso Fma with Juniperus monosperma, Pinus edulis, Rhus microphylla, Schizachyrium scoparium.
Distributed to UNM and RM. Plants caespitose - forming mats up to dm wide. Numerous fruits internally infested with insect larvae. Imager: BL; Date Imaged: 10/22/2012
