United States, California, Fresno, 10550 ft, just below 10700 ft Bighorn L. at headwaters North Fork Mono Creek, and 2 mi W of 12841 ft Red and White Mt. on Sierran crest. These plants from sodded ledges on cliffs below southernmost and lower of two small deep unnamed lakes at foot of talus of 11600 ft ridge W of Bighorn.

These plants from sodded ledges on cliffs below southernmost and lower of two small deep unnamed lakes at foot of talus. Pinus albicaulis Krumholtz occasional on these cliffs and scattered above to 11500 ft where footholds.
