Open shallowly sloping meadow bisected by shallow gully, bounded by mixed forest of Populus tremuloides-Pinus contorta-Picea engelmannii with scattered Pinus aristata on edges. Dominants include Fragaria virginiana, Astragalus alpinus, Potentilla spp.; Holocene and Pleistocene solifluction debris of andesite & granite.
