Field Notes: Name: amidolan kwiminee, "rainbow medicine ; also anna Tanna, "tobacco big"; also kwimi shipba, "root sour" Use: the dried leaves are crushed and rolled into cigarettes and smoked during ceremonies. Also, a tea prepared from the roots is drunk for stomach ache (k'owpwe:ah). The chewed root can be placed on sores and rashes (su'do:we).
