Pinus contorta-Picea engelmannii-Abies bifolia forst. In sedge stands near the outlet of Cirque Meadow.
A short leaved form in all other respects identical to var. palustre and not, I think, equivalent to the alpine plant that we have been calling var. imbricatum. This may be what Grout (Tolland colls.) was calling var. imbricatum.
