Polypodium amorphum Suksdorf, det. by M.D. Windham, 1983. / Polypodium saximontanum Windham, det. by M.D. Windham, 1993. Original ID: Polypodium hesperium Maxon. Especially collected for rhizomes, which are sweet and not acrid tasting; I believe Lange was wrong in citing this as his P. montense.
