United States, Colorado, Boulder, Outer foothills of Front Range, south edge of Boulder Lower Boulder Canyon, just west of the tunnel and e hydro plant; on stream boulders beside Boulder Creek, just above the high water mark; with Bryum pseudotriquetrum, ca. 5,700 ft. alt. The mdian leaf cells are about 5 x 30-40 microns, firm-walled. The costa is percurrent and very slightly excurrent. Large ovoid brood bodies very few, green.
