Picea glauca-Pinus contorta dominated montane forest surrounding large waterfall with extensive spray zone. Calcareous conglomerate and sandstone bedrock exposed on both north and south facing cliffs. Scouleria quatica common in splash zone: Gymnostomum recurvirostre abundant in spray zone, with drier sites dominated by Enclaypta spp., Ditrichum flexicaule and Hypnum revolutum
