Locality: United States, Colorado, Grand, North side of Berthoud Pass; Fraser Creek just south of lowest switchback above Mary Jane Ski area, 3,000 msm.
Elevation: 3000 meters (9840ft)
Habitat: Old growth spruce-fir forest, very moist, often with cloud saturation, with rich bryophyte cover on forest floor. In saturated ground on the side of the roadside waterfall. mats erect, very dense.
