I plotted the UTM at the collector provided UTM between FS Road 375 andFourmile Creek. This is on the Chaffee side of the divide. RA

Openings in Pinus ponderosa-Pseudotsuga menziesii forest in dry gravelly soil, on gentle NE facing slope; with common assoc. Chrysothamnus sp., Oreocarya thrysiflora, Picradenia richardsonii, Stipa comata, Carex obtusata, Koeleria macrantha. Common and widespread. Precambrian granodiorite to quartz monzonite substrate.
Flr
Flowers mostly red, varying to pink. 7.5' Harvard Lakes Quad.
