Occurrence Remarks: Leaves loosely spreading, straight, blue-green, narrowly triangular (isosceles) from base to acute apex. Costa just reaching the slender leaf apex. Prorulae common and conspicuous, especially in the basal cells, and are distally placed and rounded. Distal laminal cells narrow, and the basal cells are short and broadly rectangular. The teeth are single from base to apex. This cannot be confused with the larger common species that are yellow-green and have proximal prorulae.
