Willow fen in alpine-subalpine ecotone with large stands of Salix glauca at the head and enclosing numerous small fen ponds, ending in a low saddle with two large ponds filled at the inlet with Carex aquatilis. On sides of sedge tussocks.
Leaves broadly elliptic, marginal teeth very short, blunt, those of proximal part of leaf very obscure; border 2-3 cells wide; cells 25-35(-45) mu, comers thickened, pits not easily detected.
