Habitat: Within Sphagnum hummocks in iron fen a bottom of gulch. Site dominated by Betula glandulosa, Carex aquatilis, and Carex utriculata over Sphagnum moss. Dense liverwort mats near acid pools. Groundwater pH of 4.09.
