On bark in very sheltered location under box-elder canopy
Main stems homomallous, with tufts of red rhizoids at intervals; main stems hidden by the dense stand of branches; stem leaves very broadly triangular-ovate, long-attenuate; costa ending in mid-leaf; branch leaves shorter, merely acute; leaf cells short (leskeoid). Many rows of cells on each side of the costa (not few as in Pseudoleskeella!). Leaves not catenulate.
