South St. Vrain Creek canyon, bordered by steep slopes and granitic cliffs. ESE-exposure. Open lodgepole pine, Douglas-Fir, Engelmann spruce forest.
2530 meters 8300 ft.
Open lodgepole pine, Douglas-Fir, Engelmann spruce forest. Growing among the stems of a low, open specimen of Juniperus communis. Numerous other populations were found in the area.
