Sagebrush hillslope adjacent to wide, flat floodplain. Soil disturbed by tunneling rodents. Locally abundant with Seriphidium canum, Eriogonum subalpinum, and Delphinium nuttallianum.

Teal Lake quad. Flower color variable from white to mottled magenta to pink; no red individuals in population.
