Habitat: On steep slope littered with boulders, rocks and gravel, on open portion of slope in Pinus edulis/Juniperus osteosperma community with scattered Cercocarpus montanus, Fendlera falcata, Amelanchier utahensis, Ephedra viridis, Poa secunda, P. fendleriana; small population locally, occasional. Permian Cutler Form.
Reproductive Condition: Flr
Occurrence Remarks: 7.5' Gateway quad, NAD27. Calyx membrane white, keeled, flowers white to pinkish.
