Ombrotrophic to extremely poor fen with highly patterned relief. Sphagnum jensenii, S. angustifolium and S. fuscum dominants; Carex oligosperma. Eriophorum angustifolium, Chamaedaphnae calyculata, Kalmia polifolia, and Andromedia polifolia abundant. Surrounding area of Pinus banksiana, Picea mariana and Populus trernuloides
