Locality: Canada, British Columbia, Fraser-Fort George, Monashee Mountains, Northeast of Mai ton Range, West side of Kimbasket Lake. 20.7 mi South of bridge over Canoe River at North end of lake. Just Southwest of road on drainage divide near three small lakes opposite Ptarmigan Bay.Poor fen dominated by Eriophorum cespitosus. Sphagnum subsecundum, S. russowi1, S. angustfolium and S. riparlum. Drosera, Tofieldia and Habenarla common; surrounded by paludified forest of Thuja and Picea.
