Dominant plants include Myrica gale, Juniperus communis, Scirpus caespitosis, Eriophorum angustifolium. Sphagnum austinii, S. papillosum, and S. rubellum. Pinus contorta, Thuja plicata, and Chamaecyparis nootkatensis abundant on forested islands
