Site is a diverse peatland complex that includes open graminoid stands of Schoenoplectus acutus var occidentalis and Carex utriculata, low-growing stands of Salix wolfii and Salix Candida, and a diverse forested area dominated by Picea glauca and Picea englemanii. Site has a pH of 7.40.
