Meadow sloping rather steeply to dry gully & bounded by Populus tremuloides forest with scattered Pinus aristata; dominants include Bromopsis porteri, Pentaphylloides floribunda, Potentilla pulcherrima, Fragaria virginiana, Astragalus alpinus...; Holocene & Pleistocene solifluction debris of andesite & granite.
