Muhlenbergia squarrosa (Trin.) Rydb., det. by M.F.M., no date. Attached note to M.F.M. annotation: This specimen varies from other herbarium specimens in its firmer, coarser leaves. Probably environmental as it grew in dry sand, where the others grew in meadows.
