Open Pinus edulis - Seriphidium vaseyanum - Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus cover on gentle slope at base of rock ridge divide between Four Mi. Cr. & Arkansas R., in sandy, barren soil of runoff zone; forming chartreuse carpet in shade of pinyons. 7.5' USGS Harvard Lakes quad. Precambrian granodiorite to quartz monzonite substrate. Stems delicately spreading. Original ID: Oryzopsis micrantha.
