I put the point at the UTM equivalent to the lat/long given along a road that leads to Boggy Draw (although I do not know the name of it besides FR527) at 7920ft. AAS

Pinus ponderosa-Quercus forest, level mesatop with shallow soil over sandstone, poorly drained and very wet in this season; sandstone only outcrops sparingly as flat, pot-holed areas.

The short basal leaves and broad, flat culm blades were conspicuously different from those of P. pratensis in the neighborhood.
