I plotted the UTM on the slopes above Little Molas Lake in section 2 at the 11800 ft contour line. The elevation in the section does not drop to 11500 ft. RA

Timberline, in cobbly, sandy soil, ca 60% veg. cover. On broad SW facing 30% slope, alpine meadow. Assn: Trifolium, Trisetum spicatum, Poa alpina, Thalictrum, Agropyron latiglume.

This species common on these slopes, but its distribution somewhat clumped.
