Open shallowly sloping meadow bisected by shallow gully, bounded by mixed forest of Populus tremuloides-Pinus contorta-Picea engelmannii w/ scattered Pinus aristata on edges; dominants incl. Fragaria virginiana, Astragalus alpinus, Potentilla sp..... Small clumps on forest margin. Holocene & Pleistocene solifluction debris of andesite & granite. USGS 7.5' Jones Hill quad.
